The ice blasting from Saturn's moon Enceladus is stranger than scientists realized
Enceladus may naturally separate and concentrate chemicals from its hidden ocean as droplets slowly freeze and shatter on their way into space. The process could explain Cassini’s puzzling ice-grain chemistry while giving future spacecraft a powerful advantage in searching for organic compounds and clues to life.

Great News from Saturn’s Moon Enceladus in the Search for Life in Space | Newswise
Planetary scientists from Freie Universität Berlin have published two new studies in Science Advances with promising discoveries about the potential for life on one of Saturn’s icy moons. New evidence indicates that Enceladus might be more supportive of life than once assumed. In fact, spacecrafts already in planning could be used to identify evidence of life there much easier than previously thought, should it exist.
